We occasionally eat instant noodles in plastic cup. The ingredients which came out of this plastic cup is called 'environmental hormone', that affects on our life function intricately. The name is derived from very interesting simility in fuction that affects on us.

the cup noodles they sell here all come in styrofoam cups.and they aren't microwavable, 'just add boiling water, and let sit for 3 minutes' I'm sure they're using the 'modern' styrofoam production technology, however when burned that means they may give off poison gas :)fortunately, 200 degree water is not hot enough to cause these chemicals to be formed/released. putting the cup in the microwave, may create sufficient hot spots for portions of the cup to melt and give off some toxic residues. which is why i always follow the directions and boil the water then add to the cup and let it sit.I've been sick lately so cup noodles have been useful.
