Everything ought to be biodegradable, though the time span varies according to their materials. Plastics are made from oil, and oil is made from fossil in ancient times, so plastics ought to be biodegradable, but things are not so easy. It will take many years for plastics to degrade into soils.
Today I found the degradable plastics in a shop. That says it is degradable easily because it is made from corns. Just for my curiosity I kept it in my JE.
