In the article about the slashdot make-over, someone made the comment that it needed more Hello Kitty.
That one also made me laugh.

I don't want Slashdot to change this simple template. If someone wants to post a photo, choose Livejournal. If someone wants to see visual arts, choose devianArt. There're tens of hundreds of the Internet communities, Slashdot is one of them and for those who want to talk, debate, discuss, argue.
Here I feel very secured.

I thought the April Fool's day joke was pretty funny. But yes, the bright pink was too bright. So I implemented this [slashdot.org].
Now, no matter which section I visit, I get the same (overall) color scheme.

You should use the "Simple Design".Why do you keep the default design?Based on the especial reason?And, I reject and hate that the bad morale foolery of "April Fool".

Simple Design? Once I changed into it in my preferences. But I was unable to see the title of journals. I was not sure whether it is based on browsers or not though I got back to default.
That's the reason I keep on staying in default.
