Rely Human? or Mechanism?

Rely Human? or Mechanism?
[ #122647 ] Monday November 21, @03:57PM

Today we -I &my girl friend happened to have the same day off, so we made an arrangement and we decided to meet at 5 o'clock in the evening. Last time when we met the time we arranged was 7 o'clock.
In both cases she sent me an email before the times arranged. But to tell the truth, I was unable to receive her emails in either cases. Only later when she sent me another email, the one she previously sent arrived with the last ones. Actually I received 2 emails at the same time, the one was sent at 16:18, and the other was sent at 17:45. In the case of the last time I received 3 emails at the same time.
In both case, I arrived before the arranged times -before 7 & 5, then while I was killing time, I abruptly received 3 or 2 emails at the same time - saying similarly 'Are you late? ' ' Are you really coming? '
This must be caused by the only fact that I was unable to receive the emails because I was in the train. Mechanical problems.
Today because I was repeatedly delayed, she was upset and not let me in her house. After 40 minutes, after I explained this technical failure of email's delivery system, she let me in, so there was no problem though.
If we relied on the system too much we would have to end up in doubting somebody very trustful like me.
When she was upset &saying I was lying, I had nothing for it but to leave her room. I am supposed to head for her room directly at the arranged time. That's primitive but certainly sure. We aquired a strange habit to confirm on the phone beforehand at any time so when mechanical failure occurred, we are in doubt with human side, not machines.
She often told me I behave like a bot. That certainly was not a compliment.
