SoftBank is going to buy MySpace Japan. Amazing. SoftBank not only bought the third largest cellular company -vodafone Japan recently, but trying to buy a popular social networking service MySpace. But MySpace 'Japan'. the number of registered users is still small as opposed to its counterpart Mixi, Japan's most popular one, that has 5.7 million registered users. SoftBank is Yahoo provider in Japan. It also bought Japan's professional baseball team Hawks recently.
The Small Government

The corporate tax will be reduced soon as the European or American level. East Asian level is less severe than European or American level. Government refused to reduce the corporate tax as East Asian level. Instead the current administration asked the corparate organisation to increase the salary of their employees. This is a perfect example the role of government has been diminishing greatly. This itself ought to be welcome. But I'm not sure whether the corporation will improve the benifit of their employees. I have nothing for it but to wait for the corporation.

The bureaucrats power will drastically increase under the new administration. In foreign relations this country's position will dramatically decline. More and more she will lose identity as a nation. The power seizure of this administration means a kind of appearance of empty spot in map. I don't mention which country.

In a TV theatre, show, even in a movie, a serious debate show, etc I always notice all the participants don't like to deal with many matters seriously. Instead they always try to make fun of each other and make light of many serious matters. They know they have already lost the right of choice. They always follow what the stronger countries or international community made a decision. Huge bosoms, deshabille costume, and tentacle monsters are phenomenon of their unrealised dreams. They tend to realise their dreams in manga, not in reality which is nearly impossible.
Eighty-eight Temples Pilgrimage
[ 0 Comments #150399 ] Saturday November 04, @03:52PM

Kookai.-must have nothing to do with Japanese monk Kuukai-.. But if the concept of Kookai in fashion was based on the idea and thought of Kuukai, it is very fascinating. Still many ordinary people go on a trip in 88 temples in an island. It takes at least three months but it might be a wonderful experience when it completed. Kuukai ( 774-835 ) arranged 88 temples after he came back from China. His Buddhist preaching is esoteric, but he not only tsught his Buddhism but did lots of public enterprises like making a pond for drought. 88 Temples pilgrimage is not only held by elderlies but by youngsters too for those intend to seek the meaning of their life by this journey. We have to walk thoughout this journey. I intend to do sometime later in my life.

Devided Koreans
[ 0 Comments #150385 ] Saturday November 04, @02:40PM

In East Asia some people used to call Korean as 'Jews In East Asia'. I was unable to realise why Koreans are called 'Jews'. I had no idea though today when I was browsing some classics I found the description that Jewish people were devided into two in some age in ancient times. They were devided into two countries, one is Israel and the other was Judas from 900 B.C. to 587 B.C. But in history there were many countries which were devided into two or three countries. Roman Empire was devided in 286, the Western Roman Empire lasted till 467 and Eastern Roman Empire lasted till 1453. And The Frank Kingdom ( from 419 ) was devided into three, that is Germany, France, and Italy in 843. We might start calling Koreans Romans or Franks if devision was the only reason. In conclusion I might have to say East Asians don't know many about Western cultures.

English Education In Japan

English education in Japan as a compulsory subject starts at age 13 in secondary school. Can you believe it? In South Korea ten years ago already English became a compulsory subject in primary school, I mean they start learning English at age 7. The difference is clear though the difference caused by this is unseen yet, Japan's decline is only visible.

When I see Japanese ideograms, I feel as if I were watching pictures. Once Roland Barthes used to write in his 'The Empire of Signe', this country is full of ideograms. Once people here took meanings from them, but sooner or later many people here will start feeling they are mere pictures as I'd started feeling.

Usually My sleeping hours are slightly over than 5 hours. But I was unable to get enough air, my sleeping hours tend to get longer. On the contrary if I can get enough fresh air, my sleeping hours are getting shorter than 5 hours. So if I can get enough oxygen constantly while I am sleeping, my sleeping hours will be much shorter like 3 hours. 20 years ago in some department store, Ginza, Tokyo I tried oxygen bar for 5 minutes. When I talked about it, my coworker taught me there's a machine that provides oxygen concentratedly for two hours after the game of some sports. In the near future people start entering the capsule that provides oxygen while we are sleeping, then our standard sleeping hours willl be 3 hours. We live such a very busy society.

The manager of Japanese national football team has been from abroad for three times from the beginning. The worst inclination Japanese managers tend to have is they are often inclined to rely on 'spriritualism'. They just tend to demand 'fight, fight, fight' in here no scientific data aren't available.

Japan is so-called company society. The right of individuals is strictly restricted, even those who invented new technology in company, the technic is not regarded as individual's but company's. The loyalty is rarely paid to its individuals. Sony made battery caught fire in Dell, Apple in the past, but today at last even in a computer made in Japan -Fujitsu made, the Sony made battery caught fire. The feature of company society is when they made success, they attribute their success to company, but when they failed they attribute their failure to individuals.

If 25,000 students need to take 50 minutes times 70 classes of world history till their graduation next March, they will be unable to cope with university entrance examination. Lenient to students. If this ministry imposed such stupid classes on innocent pupils, I must say this ministry was not only unnecessary but harmful to young prosperous generations.

When the Black Ships arrived at Japan, 1853, the number of people who speak English and Japanese were almost the same. After 150 years later now the number of English speakers are at least 5 times as many as that of Japanese. Englsh speakers are found all over the world, but Japanese speakers are only limited within small four islands. Once when I started writing the contents of meeting in a company in English, people around me claimed that I write it in Japanese, but I ignored and keep on writing it in English. Now nobody daren't to say I write it in Japanese. But if I were told again, I prepare to say if you want to use Japanese, get out of Japan. From my eyes Japanese business scene is extremely inefficient, in other words, inept and stagnant. If Japanese people don't start introducing English more and more in various scenes in our daily social life, those who make the most of more efficient system will take the place of Japanese.

Public? Or Private?
[ 0 Comments #150339 ] Saturday November 04, @09:01AM

According to the news related to education, more than 20, 000 high school students will not be able to graduate because they failed to take enough unit of compulsory subject such as world history. World history was made compulsory as of 1994 by a ministry of education, but many universities don't require that examinees take it. So high school students who are not required to take world history in entrance examination don't like to take world history. Therefore high school had quitted imposing world history on examinees. High school authorities had been reporting falsified statement that all students took world hisory course. The problem lies not in high school, universities, but ministory of education. One hundred years ago the University of Tokyo was made to nourish a public servant, it was taken for granted that many excellent students be public servants. Nowadays many excellent students enter into private work force, not government. In this particular case as to world history is a typical example that government people decide things according to what they think it favourable, hopeful. They had needed to decide which subject ought to be required according to what subject university entrance examination requires. People here used to live as what public servants ordered them to do so. That time had passed forever.
White Collar ' Exemption '
[ 0 Comments #150337 ] Saturday November 04, @08:52AM

This notion might be from America because the word is English. Usually we work 8 hours in a day and 5 days in a week. Total working hours are supposed to be 40 hours. But in fact many people are working 10 to 12 hours in a day. Total working hours are about 60 hours in a week. Working extra hours itself is not against the law, but almost all cases they don't add extra working hours in their regular working hours. So I have to admit that they are working much more than they stated. But today 'white collar exemption' is about to be implemented from next spring. If this law is introduced, white collar will be permitted to work as much as they can. Current working hour 10 to 12 is going to extend more to 15 or 16. If those who are self employed, it depends on themselves as to how many hours they work though. I believe Japanese people tend to work longer in a day, but worse problem is they usually don't take or are unable to take vacations in a year. They keep on working around the clock 365 days in a year without taking holidays more than consecutive 5 days. Their worst problem is that they don't classify matters. Many things are not arranged yet, everything is in confusion, chaotic. This chaos is mainly caused by the complexity of Japanese language. They haven't used alphabet yet, in other words they are still using very complicated 1850 ideograms and 50 phonetic signs. Their job is not done well despite their hard work. White collar exemption is to try to make up for the inefficiency caused by the complexity of language by consuming more hours. They had better start changing their language in public use. From Japanese to English.

I went to a regular meeting by an English circle on the 15th of October with my wife. For the first time of course. The number of attendants were 31 in which 23 were female and 8 were male. Almost all men had come there with their wives, few men had come alone, and many wemen had come by themselves. For a guy like me whose age is 45, it is uncommon to attend there alone. We spent there just one hour. On the 22nd of October again we attended the meeting. Many attendants of this meeting are English teachers. I felt very secured. I intend to participate in this meeting next week too. With my 'common law' wife, of course.

But he positioned Shu army on the hill since it was written in a book of military tactics. There's an exception for everything, in this area because water was obtained fully at the bottom of the valley he had to place his troops under the valley. Shu army was surrounded and defeated by Wei army. Later Ma Su was captured by Zhuge Kongming and said to be executed. Ma Su had been very well evaluated by Zhuge Kongming, but he executed Ma Su without mercy. He should have given him a second chance, but he took his life for his one time failure. Zhuge Kongming had been admired one of the most intelligent figures in the Thee Kingdoms Era, many his enemies feard his wisdom. After the death of Zhuge Kongming in the Battle of Wuzhang Plains, 234, Shu had no wiser strategist than Zhuge Kongming. If a wise strategist like Ma Su were alive, Shu would not have to keep Zhuge Kongming's death secret.

1981 in Kyoto. I stayed in Kyoto -ancient Japan's capital for a year. I stayed in Kyoto not for study, not for job, not for pleasure, but for meditation. I was trying to know the mind of Japan by visiting tens of temples and I spent tens of time to walk the path. Usually I make it a rule to visit one temple in a weekend, and I walked in the pedestrian path in a day or evening. Many times I was asked from my friends who live in the same dormitory where I was going out. Everytime I was asked I kept smiling without saying anything. I left Kyoto when my hair reached my shoulder. In Kyoto it was everywhere where I was able to find philosopher's path, although there was a real Philosopher's Path along the small stream in the east in Kyoto, it was too long to walk through. I found just nothing in this year, but I must tell you that it was necessary for me to calm my nerve down. Creation was such a hard work that I was unable to do anything for two years afterwards.

I always noticed how many items are only designed for use Japan only. That apparently protects Japanese domestic industry. Japan is for Japan's sake. Outside people cannot use such devices as designed only for Japan's product. If Japanese standard is very universal, there might be no serious problems. But the standard of this country is very different from other countries' standard. Thus 'For Use In Japan Only' means Japanese people are narrowing their possibility on their own. How pity for they don't realise what they are doing!

Japan is indeed incredibly fragile society. Japanese language is logically speaking almost all opposite to logical order. In short Japanese language will die away. Society based on this illogicality must be fragile.

Hello ***,
Thank for for your instructions. First thing today I went to an Internet Cafe near my house. Firstly I was unable to see my inbox in the same way as in my personal computer, although I clicked 'inbox'.
All I saw was just blank. Then I clicked 'compose' instead of 'check mail' or 'inbox', then strangely enough I was able to see my inbox. I tried it many times then, but it was not always that I was able to see the list of inbox. I can often see only blank. Only occasionally I was able to see my inbox.
Back in my home, this time I was able to see my inbox just in one click. I was happy, then I closed all and tried it again. This time I was unable to see the contents of inbox again. After I tried it many times - six or seven times, finally I was able to see it. I believed something wrong has been mended since three days ago.
I started deleting many unread e-mails. I had 155. The domain of my account is com. so it cannot receive Japanese characters properly, but I had received many Japanese mails, many are commercial ones, and oftentimes Japanese characters are changed as the meaningless combination of signs, figures, and alphabet. Otherwise very long lines of complicated Chinese characters appeared, whichever they are I couldn't understand. We often refer to this phenomenon as 'trasfiguration of characters', so that might have caused clumsiness, slow performance, sometimes only blank, freeze of the screen.

It's Sunday today...I am free from any obligation today, free from job of course, free from dating with my girlfriend, etc. Besides it's very fine today. In short it's a perfect autumnal holiday.
About a week ago I declared that I won't see her. I don't intend to keep on our relationship any more. My attitude has been unchanged though, she asked me to see her. Last Tuesday we had date. We will have date with next Tuesday. I had date with her because she repeatedly asked me to see her and she told me she longed for meeting me.
Separation only in Slashdot, but in reality things will be slightly different.
I keep on seeing her mainly only for pure physiological reasons. But we don't live together, if our relationship continues as it is now, it's not a bad thing itself. Even though we turned out that we live in a different reality, still we need one thing to help one another, which itself is not a bad thing.

[ 0 Comments #143228 ] Tuesday September 05, @08:12PM

Summer 2006 was a very frustrating one. I wanted to love her more but only I found I was unable to.
But the summer was just over, the season of love and emotion is over now. Usually I spend many hours in reading and writing in autumn. The time has come to arrange my thought. My love lives still in a different city and it's just hard for us to see one another frequently.
She's coming to my room on 16th of September, till then I forget her and intend to devote myself to especially reading some of the classics. Let's arrange the things. Love is not the only thing that I've been in pursuit.

Poisn To Poison
[ 0 Comments #143106 ] Sunday September 03, @01:58PM

Poisn to poisn. Illusion to illusion. I ejected an illusion to oppose another illusion.
This is effective in practice, but it is dangerous. I don't recommend at all. More often than not we need a negative option to oppress another negative option. Minus times minus is plus. But this is a totally unfavourable option.
Treacle
[ 0 Comments #143105 ] Sunday September 03, @01:43PM

One word comes up in my mind....'treacle'. Originally it means 'antidote against venom'. I need treacle to oppose to venom, venom which is 'illusion' in my terms.
I don't hold any illusion. I only believe what I see, so I love her when she is present before me. Otherwise I don't love her. So I am unabble to love her in her absence. But I have to keep on loving her in order to see her at weekends. So for five days on weekdays she is nothing but an illusion. And I can't love illusions.

[ 0 Comments #141753 ] Friday August 11, @09:16PM

I feel incredibly secured when I am with my love only because it is very natural as a woman and man in the middle of their forties.
We had to separate from our previous partners for some reason or other, and we cannot look them back. Past is past. Our previous partners must have maintained their private lives each.
I feel insecured when I am by myself. I live alone from Monday to Friday. I oftentimes feel irresistable to see my love. Of course I can't. The objective of my love outside the scope of my view is as if it were a dead, as a matter of fact I have been giving up her for dead during these hard weekdays.
I or we want to see her or one another everyday. I have no good idea how to solve this problem. Giving up her for dead for good is a perfect answer. She is as if Phonex. Phoenix itself is a good symbol. But I want to have a small bird every day, I don't need a Phoenix if I can only see it once in a week. I will see her tonight. I intend to talk about our situations.

All these two weeks I was wearing nothing when in bed. No, no, I don't have a partner to sleep with in every night basis. I live alone. I only see my love one time in a week on weekends. I mean because it has been very hot these ten days or so, I took off all even if I went to sleep after I wore something. Besides I often open all the windows in my bedroom. Thanks for these treatment I had been able to sleep well until last night. So..last night was different. I was forced to wake up at 4:38 a.m. because I felt chilly from the air outside. Still I didn't have a blanket to cover with me, I had to keep on lying till 8:00 a.m. I fell asleep soon after midnight.
Before I started going out with her three months ago - before 24th of May, I had always gone to bed at 4:00 a.m. and woke up at 9:00 a.m. My life pattern started to change about one month ago, and now I often fall asleep soon after midnight and wake up at around 5:30 a.m.
Her lifestyle is similar to my current one. She usually sleeps sometime between 10 to 11 p.m. and wakes up at 6:30 a.m. I'm now in the middle of my forties and I lost all the loves in the past, but I was always living together throughout my thirties. I always get up earlier than my partner. My sleeping hours keep on being slightly over 5 hours. My partner usually keeps on sleeping 7 to 8 hours at least so I always wake up earlier if we start falling asleep together.
My lifestyle has been adjusting to this life pattern, I will sleep with her tonight and we fall asleep together, I will wake up at 5:00 a.m. and I intend to enjoy watching closely her sleeping figure and face. It's my secret pleasure.

But how about today's me? I am crying to want her. I have been crying since last time we met one week ago. I am about to lose my sense. I am in danger of collasping my temper. I am at risk.

So I couldn't say it's very nice even as just a compliment though the landscape from the window upstairs is very beautiful. MySpace Age
[ 4 Comments #140715 ] Friday July 28, @01:40PM

I noticed some of the User of MySpace com deliberately made a false statement as to their age. We could see sometimes a woman whose age is 99 years old but the real one is much younger. In the case of 99 years old, we usually notice the User has been making a mockery of us and we'd better not take their statement too seriously. But there are some cases we are unable to tell whether their statement is right or false if both two different ages are likely.
For example some User express their age as 49 at first and later in their profile in detail their age was 16. Either two cases are likely so we were just unable to decide which is correct.
In their first profile their ages are automatically renewed according to their birthdays and month, year. We don't have to change our age and age changes when their birthdays arrive. So what would happen after 50 years, after 100 years from now? Probably my age will be 95 years old, 145 years old automatically. Age counting in MySpace com doesn't make allowances for our real age, but keep on indicating how many years will have passed since our birthdays.
That is called 'MySpace age'. We were able to acquire eternal life on MySpace. Our age will last forever!

We are selling two different eels. One is 30 cm long, 7 cm width and the price is $7. The other one is 25 cm long, 5 cm width and the price is $10.
The only difference is one is made in China and the other is domestic made. I think the taste is completely the same but Japanese people prefer buying domestic ones, not imported ones.
Strangely enough the case of domestic eels is bigger and tough, that of imported eels is smaller and fragile, so there are a lot of room around the domestic eel in a case while almost no room can be found inside the case of imported eels. I thought it strange and I proposed my manager to change the cases being used by each eel.
'Imported eels are bigger so we ought to use bigger and tougher cases for them. Domestic ones are smaller and we ought to use smaller cases.' My manager's explanation was this. 'It's according to their prices, not their size.'
Of course I don't believe such an excuse. I think domestic eels are smaller but more expensive so we need to show that they are more splendid by using a luxury case, I think that's all.
